Max Strand
producer
Max Strand is an award-winning writer, director, and producer with over 15 years of experience in the film industry. His award-winning directorial debut Goodbye Honey played festivals around the world, including The Philadelphia Film Festival, Dances With Films, The Garden State Film Festival, and more. The film was also honored with a spot on the 2020 Fantastic Fest Recommends List, in lieu of that year’s festival. Max's follow-up feature film Rocky’s attracted an outstanding young cast, including Gil Perez-Abraham (The Batman), Jasai Chase Owens (The Expanse), Ben Tyler Cook (West Side Story), and Stanley Simons (The Iron Claw). The film recently wrapped post-production. His career in production includes work on films and TV shows including Silver Linings Playbook, Showtime's The Affair, and Broad City.
Josh Michaels
producer
Josh Michaels is a writer & producer based in Brooklyn, NY, with nearly a decade of professional experience in film and television. He's worked in production on major network television shows, including Starz, Power, Paramount’s, The First Wives Club, and various indie shorts and features. More recently, he's teamed up with Max to produce two feature films, Goodbye Honey and Rocky’s. On Goodbye Honey, he successfully raised outside financing for additional photography and post-production, as well as attached a sales agent who helped to secure distribution through Freestyle Digital Media and Cardinal XD. On his follow-up project, Rocky’s he was able to make connections at the major talent agencies and work with casting director Kate Geller (Shiva Baby) to put together a fantastic cast of upcoming actors. In addition to producing, his screenplay Phantom Walls was a finalist in the prestigious 2023 Screencraft Horror Competition.
